Adam Teece

Adam graduated from the University of Alberta in 2011 with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy.  Prior to this he completed a Bachelors Degree of Fine Arts in Theatre from the University of Victoria and a Theatre Arts diploma from Grant MacEwan University.  He has completed a course in muscle mobilization and has taken training in manual therapy and the McKenzie technique for low back pain.

From 2003-2006 Adam operated the Wholesouls Wellness Centre in Edmonton, where he provided treatments and taught courses in Reiki and Japanese holistic health.   This experience gave Adam the opportunity to interact with a variety of complimentary health professionals and taught him a very holistic approach towards patients care.

Adam is a recreational runner and has recently resumed crossfit training.   Adam continues to be active in the Edmonton arts community and volunteers his time with several local theatre and dance companies.

As a therapist, Adam enjoys treating all types of injuries with particular interest in shoulder conditions, motor vehicle accidents and low back pain.   He works closely with his patients to develop an individualized treatment plan that is based on education, hands on therapy, and the restoration of movement.
