Arri McWatt

Arri graduated with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy in 2010 from the University of Alberta.  He received a Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology from the University of Victoria in 2007.  Arri has completed his certificate in Medical Acupuncture from the AFCI.  He has advanced his manual therapy skills by taking Charlie Kelly’s manual mobilization of muscles course, Jim Meadows’ peripheral joint manipulation course and Mulligan upper extremity mobilization.  He is taking additional advance manual therapy courses as well.

Arri grew up in small Northern Alberta town of Fairview where he played hockey, volleyball, golf, soccer, and squash. He has been involved in coaching volleyball and hockey and is hoping to get back into coaching soon.

Arri has travelled extensively across Canada, Australia, and the Caribbean.  He plays recreational hockey, volleyball, squash, and golf and has taken part in two adventure races in Edmonton.  In August 2011, Arri took part in the Canadian Death Race, with owners James and Graham where they had a great finishing time and helped raise $30,000 for the Children’s Wish Foundation.

Arri enjoys working with a variety of patients, particularly young athletes and uses a combination of manual therapy, acupuncture education and exercise in his rehab.
