Roman Requestias

Roman graduated from Queen’s University in 2000 with a Bachelors Degree of Science in Physical Therapy.  Roman comes to Edmonton from Ontario, where he has been a successful clinician and manager in a private practice setting.  He has focused his practice on Orthopaedic Rehabilitation.

He has been a therapist for the Queen’s University Track and Field team and has significant experience with athletic injuries and therapeutic taping techniques.

Roman also has experience in developing return to work strategies for motor vehicle and work related accidents.

He is a Level 3 manual therapist and is an experienced spinal and peripheral manipulative therapist. He is also trained in some acupuncture and myofascial release techniques.  Roman is a Filipino-Canadian and is comfortable providing treatment in Tagalog.

Roman believes that successful rehabilitation is not only the reduction of pain and return to function, but an understanding of the condition and a proper self-management program.

Roman is passionate about his work and knows that knowledge, respect, and compassion are all key ingredients in being a physiotherapist.

In his spare time, Roman enjoys golf, snowboarding, volleyball, rock climbing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
