Fracture Rehabilitation

* No referral required

* If it is a recent fracture, typically the first seven visits are funded by Alberta Health Services (AHS)

* More funding may available if all extended health care is exhausted/unavailable

* In order to receive CRP Ortho funding from Alberta Health Services, you MUST schedule your initial assessment within either:

• 2 weeks of cast removal OR
• 56 days (8 weeks) of orthopedic surgery
• There are a few exceptions to this rule, so if you’re unsure please check with your physiotherapist
• Have a valid Alberta Health Care number
